Believe it or not...I am currently at work. haha All of my bosses are gone for the day, I finished all the work they gave me, and it's really really quiet here because most people are leaving for fall break, so yes, I'm getting paid to chill. Can't complain there.
I was reading Mollie's past journal entries a few minutes ago. They all cracked me up and I began to remember some things I would have ordinarily forgotten. So, I decided to make a post of my own...if for no other reason than to be able to remember what has happened recently when I read these things again someday.
Last night Trai, Kaylyn, and I were all in the study room and began to talk about the rest of the world. I mean, how cool would it be to walk on the moon and be able to look back at earth. I think we take advantage of looking at the moon sometimes. I mean it's so crazy to think of massive this world is, and then see the moon and realize that theres even more to this universe than what's around us everyday.
Our conversation then moved onto going out of the country and seeing all that this world has to offer. Kaylyn showed us pictures from when she went to Peru, Belize, and Ecuador. She had so many stories just from being in each place for less than a month at a time. I realized that I'm excited to travel one day. I mean, I want to have pictures of gorgeous places with me actually standing in them, next to the Eifel Tower or with a monkey in South America. I want to have stories to tell.
:)
Kaylyn had a picture of a cactus. Not just an ordinary cactus, though. If you got pricked by this cactus, the little needles would make their way into your body and go directly to your heart. It's so weird that there are plants out there that can kill you like that. Crazy. Stay away from South American cactuses.
I have Monday and Tuesday off for fall break! I'm excited because I'm going to go visit my family and hang out with my sister, and go to a movie with molls and brad and get cold stone, and go golfing with mi padre, and make some brownies and convince my mom to eat some despite her crazy diet! I also miss Pity. haha
My roomie is going to Tallahassee this weekend. I will miss her greatly :( She's so awesome! Her mom brought me the cutest little minature pumpkin the other day!! I was so excited! I still am excited!!
Trai has a physics test today. We studied a lot for this week. Well, mainly he studied and I tried to help him out when I could. It's weird to try to remember things you learned a while back. I wonder what distinguishes what you will remember in the future and what you will forget. I wonder what all I have forgotten over the years. Anyways, we played a game to study for my Spanish test, too. I like how we help each other study like this! :) And I am even more glad that he is here!!
I called my sister about 4 times just now. Each time it said "Mollie is on the phone." I hung up and redialed to see how many times it would take for her to finally answer. haha The answer is 4.
:) I can't wait to see my sister.
The end!! :)

I just got the music yesterday so I've gotta catch up to the upperclassmen by tomorrow! Should be interesting!

Got back a little bit ago from Jacksonville... can't say that it was a trip I enjoyed going on, simply because of why I went. :( But yes, it will be alright, and at least I got to savor every second I could until he left. I'm so proud of him and I KNOW he is going to do so well in SC!! :)
I had an absolutely amazing birthday! Ash was a doll and got me a pedicure, manicure, and get this... a massage! Can't say I've ever done that before, but man am I already addicted! It's like...heaven. haha I wonder if heaven has lots of massage people! That would be friggin awesome!! Thank you SO much again for that Ash, you are the best!
Went to Margaritaville with Mollie, Asha, Trai, Kirsten, Brett, Dylan, and Katie! YAY for that!! I have the bestest friends!! :) and then to Pleasure Island, which I highly reccommend! Simply because it's so diverse and you get so much done all in one night! We went from a like rap type club to a live punk concert, to a seventies dance party, adventurers club to sit and chill, and then to a comedy warehouse to watch a whose line is it anyway type show all in one night! Crazy!! Thank you all SO much for coming, you made my birthday!! :-D
Winn Dixie has a lot of sales going on right now, just thought I would throw that in there. The stuff is like amazingly cheap!
and thank you to my parents and sister for the awesome ipod and accesories!! I love you guys!
Gah, I miss him so much already.

Today is Sunday. I wonder where they came up with that name, Sunday. Maybe it was the only day of the week that the sun came out during the time period when they were naming the days.
hm.
I've always liked Sundays, but they have never been close to becoming my favorite day of the week. I'm more of a Friday night/Saturday type of girl. I think specificially I enjoy Friday 6:00 pm- Saturday 11:59 pm. yes. I think that's right.
Anyways, on this particular Sunday morning I woke up extra early and went to the store. I cannot take full credit for these next actions, because Trai thought of the idea, but I went to publix and bought a few groceries.
Then, I went home before anyone was awake and played cooking show. It was kinda like Paula's Home Cooking type of food, minus the accent in my voice, with a little bit of Emeril "bam!" all in Rachel Ray's 30 minute time period. If you have no idea what the heck I am talking about, that's okay... you may actually be normal.
I made breakfast for my mommy and daddy. It turned out okay, despite the fact that it took me two tries to get everything right. I hadn't done it in a while so everything was done at different times. The problem was that the stuff that got done first was cold, some was warm, and the others really hot. So what did I do? I started over.
Now, don't say that I wasted a ton of food, because I didnt. I just failed to mention that the first try pancakes were either burned or not cooked fully. (I concluded that it was all because I was using the wrong type of pan and it was on too hot of a temperature.) The canadian bacon was tough, and the eggs...well, the eggs were darn decent so I ate them.
So yes, after I redid everything, the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and canadian bacon turned out not too shabby if I do say so myself. I wouldnt call it Food Network food, but hey.... my parents loved it and ate it all, so that's got to say something.
One thing I do know for sure though... they definitely weren't even close to my grandma's buckwheat pancakes. I am going to miss them, and her even more.

today i would like to talk about penguins. Penguins are funny little creatures. They slip and slide on their little bellies over ice and snow topped blocks of frigid compacted water. However, I regret to inform you that peguins can hardly fly. interestingly enough they are a type of bird.
Now, I want you to think of the word bird. I want you to think of the definition..perhaps grab a dictionary or look it up online if you would like. Let me repeat it... bird. What is the first thing you think of and what do you picture.
Unless you are thinking about what I just said about peguins, you normally think of say a mokingbird, a blue jay, or perhaps a robin. Hardly anyone would think of a penguin. Which is why I think penguins should be classified as something else. What is that something category you ask? Well, the "Artics" of course. Kinda like a mammal/amphibian/reptile classification, solely for the animals who live on the north or south poles.
hahahaha I am a nerd, and after reading what I just wrote, I can only shake my head and end this entry now before I dig myself a deeper hole of nerdiness!

I am sitting here, in my room and I have deleted the first sentence of this post over 5 times in a row and come out with a new sentence each time. I just, quite frankly, don't know where to begin or what to say!
I know! Let's start way back in 23984 BC. Back then, dirt wasnt dirty. I mean, people often were found running around in bare feet, and now that I mention it, often bare bodies as well..but let me keep this journal PG. They didnt have showers, or indoor plumbing, or block houses for that matter. Did they even have soap? I doubt it! Being outside was the cool place to be, and being dirty... pshhh who cares?!
Until little Adella Frankfooter came along. Oh man *smacks forehead* after she came and went, everything changed. You see, Adella was a slightly crazy. She was addicted to mud. She would lay in it for hours upon hours, simply just to feel the mush between her toes (mainly the big toe and the one next to it). One day, little Adella layed in that mud for 8 hours straight. When she came back and walked through town, everyones jaws dropped. Poor little Adella had turned into a tadpole.
Ever since then, the whole town installed bathrooms into their houses and took showers whenever they felt even slightly dirty. Word soon spread to neighboring villages, and soon the whole earth was taking showers and wearing clothes to keep the dirt off their skin.
As for Adella, poor thing never even turned into a frog! She's still a tadpole just a swimmin at Lake Oceebora. Now don't you fret. Adella is getting the recognition she deserves for finding out such valuable information the hardway. A musemn has been set up on site at Lake Oceebora, with free visits to see little Adella the tadpole layin in the mud for just $19.95 per visit (tax included).
All fan mail can be sent to the north pole... simply because Adella is a tadpole, can't read, and I'm sure Santa would get a kick out of it.

I would first off like to say that I am EXTREMELY lucky.. or blessed.. or whatever you prefer to call it. Either way, I couldn't ask for more! :):):) and one more... :)! perfect!
Next, I would like to talk about cheese.
Cheese is great and comes in many forms, and many come from different countries. For example, we have American cheese, from America... most commonly put on hamburgers, and Swiss cheese, which was originated in Switzerland...
...now for a tangent. Okay, Swiss cheese is great and all, and yes I personally do enjoy a bit of Swiss cheese.. but logically thinking here, wouldnt Swiss cheese be like half the price of say chedder? I mean think about it... here, I'll even get a picture for you to look at...

does any notice the holes??? Does any notice that half the cheese is like missing?! Does anyone notice that Swiss cheese costs no less than any other cheese that has no holes?! How did the holes get there in the first place! It cant be the mice, that would just be too.. unsantiary! gosh!
I KNOW!! it must be the people with cheese cutters.. kinda like cookie cutters. I can just picture it! An assembly line of ladies or men in a Swiss cheese making factory with circle cheese cutters, cutting holes into the swiss cheese!
Alas! I have found my destiny.. I wanna be a swiss cheese cutter.
And that, my friends, is what happens when I go to write an entry not knowing what I want to type. Thank you for traveling through my thought process with me. At least we solved one thing...I am off to research culinary school to begin work on my destiny.

oh. my. goodness.
Extreme Makeover Home Edition has got to be the COOLEST idea/show on tv EVER.
I'd like to work on something like that one day. Just to do that for someone, give them anything and everything they wanted, and then be there to see their face when they see it all finished. Man, that'd be the best feeling in the world, and I would love to experience it.
I'm gonna do something like that one day.
